About this campaign
The Dekalb RJ Campaign is committed to working with Dekalb county residents and community organizations to collaboratively further a reproductive justice agenda in Dekalb County through education, outreach, and eventually policy change.
mission
We believe Dekalb’s diversity is its biggest strength. Our campaign’s mission is to mobilize and educate historically marginalized communities in Dekalb County through a reproductive justice framework. We are committed to working with youth, queer, black, brown, immigrant, and refugee communities to support their reproductive lliberation.
VISION
We hope to build the power of diverse communities in Dekalb county who are often overlooked and who struggle to access abortion care and sexual health resources. We want to support these communities by giving them knowledge, resources, and leadership opportunities to make decisions that are best for themselves and their families.
The Facts
Our 2021 Dekalb County Needs Assessment revealed that access to domestic violence resources, comprehensive sexual health education, and food security were the largest areas of concern for families in Dekalb County.
