To achieve change and make a difference, we must start holding difficult conversations with folks in our community. Talking about the “hard stuff” is meant to provoke thought and learning, and most importantly, a will to continue chatting with folks and equipping family members, friends, and colleagues with the right facts and narrative. Through these conversations, we can grow, and through growth, we can create a culture shift from remaining silent to being vocal.

SisterSong, New Georgia Project, and AMPLIFY GA are collaborating to facilitate such a discussion on reproductive health, rights, and justice AND the Black church. The two are rarely ever talked about in the same space; in fact, they are viewed as oppositional to one another. Now, we are creating a public space for this much-needed conversation held by Black woman theologians and clergy, entitled, We Need to Talk About It More: Black Churches & Reproductive Justice.

Join us virtually on Tuesday, October 6th at 7:00pm EST to be a part of the conversation. Register on EventBrite to receive a link to the virtual event and additional updates. We hope to see you there!
